Every now and then, Mother Nature surprises you with something. After shooting a basic sunset, I started to pack up my gear when these lenticular clouds started to drift through with some unreal color! Of course I quickly set the camera back on the tripod.

My photographic journey started with shooting film in high school. I made some good images, and many not so good images. At that younger age, I wasn't disciplined enough to keep a journal of the settings for each shot, so I had a hard time reproducing the good images. Going away to college, life became too busy for photography so I didn't pick up another camera until the digital revolution. After playing with some point & shoots, then some super zoom prosumer cameras, I purchased my first DSLR in 2009.
